Monitoring Your General Wellness & Overall Health

When it comes to caring for your health, it’s always preferable to take a proactive approach as opposed to a reactive one. At eNational Testing, we offer a number of panels and screening options to ensure that you stay on top of your general wellness.

Let’s talk about what some of these options are and why they’re so important.

Learn more about all of these panels and order yours now!

A Broad Look into Your General Health

By analyzing high-impact biomarkers in this wide-ranging panel, we can gain insight into your health as a whole. Our Standard Metabolic Health Panel is a blood test that’ll look at your heart, kidney, and brain health. This panel can offer visibility into whether or not you might be at risk for certain types of infections, blood disorders, diabetes, or kidney disorders — before they become serious.

The Standard Metabolic Health Panel checks your hemoglobin A1c, complete blood count (CBC) with differential, ferritin, iron and total iron-binding capacity (TIBC), glucose, creatinine, sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, carbon dioxide, and more.

This panel is a great fit if you don’t have something hyper-specific you want to look into, but instead, want the “bigger picture.” This might also be a good fit if you have a family history of heart, brain, kidney, or diabetic complications.

A Deeper Look into the Standard Panel

Want to dive deeper into your total health? Our Advanced Metabolic Health Panel offers a more complete picture of your metabolism. It provides more comprehensive information on your major organs, cardiovascular system, thyroid function, and vitamin deficiencies. It includes everything from the standard panel and adds other tests like vitamin B12, vitamin D (which many Americans are deficient in since we spend most of our time indoors), and magnesium. These “micronutrients” play a huge role, and yet an estimated two billion people around the globe are deficient in something. In the United States specifically, this might be due to less-than-stellar diets.

Thyroid Health: A Hormone Powerhouse

The thyroid is a small endocrine gland that lives in your neck. It creates two hormones: thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). All of the cells in your body need adequate amounts of these hormones in order to do their jobs properly.

Your hormones play a role in many of your body’s processes and systems, including heart health, energy levels, body weight, metabolism, and pregnancy. If your thyroid levels are off, it can cascade into a number of symptoms, including weight fluctuations, fatigue, and an irregular heartbeat. Unfortunately, thyroid problems are all too common. In fact, approximately 20 million Americans have some sort of thyroid disease, but up to 60% aren’t even aware of it. Thyroid problems can be easy to misdiagnose and even dismiss entirely.

Our thyroid health panel is a blood test that will determine if your thyroid is overactive, underactive, or operating normally. The panel will check for thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), free T4, and T3. Checking and monitoring these numbers helps determine if your thyroid health could be improved and if so, how — whether that’s through lifestyle changes or medication.

Checking Your Colon Health

Colorectal cancer is the third most common type diagnosed in the United States, behind only skin cancers. The American Cancer Society says that in 2023 alone, there will be 106,970 new cases of colon cancer and 46,050 new cases of rectal cancer.

The good news is that it’s preventable and can also be highly treatable and curable. With eNational Testing’s colon cancer screening, we can detect colon cancer in the early stages by analyzing a stool sample for microscopic blood fragments. Typically, you should repeat this once every year.

You should also start getting regular colon cancer screenings from the age of 45 until the age of 75. After that, talk to your healthcare provider to see if screening is still necessary for you.

Prioritizing Your Heart Health

Your ticker needs your attention! Get an inside look with the cardiac risk monitoring panel, which will provide a more complete understanding of your risk of heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular diseases, and more. We’ll determine your cholesterol, vitamin levels, iron levels, inflammation, any clotting-related issues, your body fat measurements, and heart-related hormone levels.

More specifically, the panel covers your lipids with your LDL/HDL ratio, ferritin, leptin, uric acid, fibrinogen activity, anticardiolipin antibodies (ACA), aldosterone, homocysteine, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, and others.

Modern medicine has made it possible — easy, even — to get ahead of your health and spot potentially significant issues before they cause serious damage to your body. With a simple blood draw or stool sample, eNational Testing can shed light on certain health concerns and what the next steps toward addressing them might be.

We also offer additional panels for STD testing, men’s health, women’s health, allergies and sensitivities, and employment screening. Not sure what panel you need? Talk to your healthcare provider for more guidance! Once you’re ready, you can order your test online and take control of your future. Questions? Concerns? We’re ready to help.
